The Seattle Foundation is hosting it's annual GiveBIG event this year on May 15th. For every dollar you donate through the foundation's website on May 15nd, EGH will receive it plus a portion of their match pool. In addition an anonymous donor from our Board of Directors who has pledged to match all gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $5000! 7th Annual Spring Benefit Dinner

Hear the success stories. Celebrate the women. Pledge your support. Join us for our seventh annual "Under the Yellow Umbrella" fundraising dinner at the beautiful Lake Union Cafe. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with hor d'oeuvres and wine followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Please RSVP to Carol Bridges (coffeybridges@comcast.net or (206) 523-1959) by April 15th.

5th Annual Beatles Sing-A-Long
January 26th, 2013 - 7:30 p.m. - Egan Hall
Join us for a festive evening of singing and live music as we revisit the greatest hits of The Beatles! Year after year, new and old friends of EGH gather together to sing their hearts out as the band leads the show. Lyrics will be provided, and drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, so All you need is Love. Tickets ($15/adult, $10/senior, $5/kids 12 and under) will be available before the event from an EGH board member, or you are welcome to pay at the door. Egan Hall is located at 123 N 79th St. in Greenwood, and lot and street parking will be available.

Annual Women of Worth Party
December 15th, 2012 - 1:00 p.m.
The annual Women of Worth party, a holiday party for our clients, will be taking place on December 15th. We are looking for donations of hats, scarves, gloves, coats, and shoes as well as gift cards and toys for children. Please drop donations off at the day center or contact Michele at (206) 523-6031 or mmartin@elizabethgregoryhome.org.
Night Out for EGH at 50 North
November 8th, 2012 - 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. - 50 North
It's a night out for Elizabeth Gregory Home at the 50 North Restaurant! 50 North is open for dinner from 6p-10p, and the bar is open until 11p. In addition to 50 North contributing part of the nights proceeds to EGH, they will also donate $1 for every specialty drink purchased. 50 North is located across from University Village at 5001 25th Ave. NE.

Annual Spring Dinner

Giving Tree
Month of December - Your workplace!
The Holiday Season brings presents and hopes for a new year for many of us. You and your colleagues at work can help bring that magic to women who are homeless and wishing for something special this holiday season. You can sponsor a Giving Tree in your workplace, decorated with ornaments that each hold a gift wish from one of the women in the EGH Day Center or residence... gift cards and small things, but precious to the woman who receives it. EGH will provide the tree and the wishes; please call Kanti Mani at (206) 729-0262 to request a Giving Tree.
Women of Worth Holiday Party
December 17th, 2011 - 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. - University Lutheran Church
Come celebrate the women of Elizabeth Gregory Home as they move beyond homelessness. We invite the community to join us for refreshments, holiday arts and crafts as well as surprises. Families as well as single men and women are welcome. This is a no-cost event. The event will take place in the Fellowship Hall in the basement of University Lutheran Church, which is located at 1604 NE 50th St., 98105.

The Beatles Sing-A-Long came back for its 3rd year. Guests TWISTed and SHOUTed and sang to dozens of Beatles songs played by live musicians.
Casino Night
November 13th, 2010 - 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - University Christian Church
Friends of EGH gathered one night in November to play games, eat Moroccan food, bid on silent auction items, and listen to vintage jazz in Rick's Cafe. It was the Fourth Annual Casino Night Benefit.
Thanks to Rich Hinrichsen and all the wonderful committee members for organizing this event. Thanks to Michelle McCully for creating a web page for the event and helping with the silent auction. Thanks to David Chilton for procuring soft drinks, to Ruth Ann Rouse for cooking all that great food, to Kristin Piepho for running the silent auction, to Shannon Peart for designing the programs, to Emi Buckmaster for designing our invitation and save-the-date cards, to Leah Natale and friends for providing the wonderful 1940s music, to Sue Tong for decorations, to Joan and Merle Overland for procuring wine. Plant and Yard Art Sale
June 5th, 2010 - Lake City Presbyterian Church
This fundraiser was hosted by Lake City Presbyterian Church on June 5. This event gave us the opportunity to display EGH materials and sell Lois Moe's floral note cards. We are one of the benevolences of their church women and are very grateful for their ongoing donations of laundry soap, toiletry kits and monetary gifts.
Blue Lagoon Night Club Cruise
June 4th, 2010 - 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. - The Islander, Lake Union
This fundraiser was completely underwriten by several individual donors. The stormy Friday evening did not attract as many guests as we would have liked to have. But as always, the event was lot of fun. We rented the 72 feel multi-level yatch from Champagne cruises. We danced to the music by DJ Ronnie Paul and all proceeds from the door price ($20 each) went directly to benefit EGH.

The University of Washington Women's Choir and University Congregational United Church of Christ worked with Elizabeth Gregory Home present a beautiful concert that highlighted issues and themes related to moving from homeless to homeful. 100+ voices were raised in song to support women working to find home.

The EGH book sale proved to be a success for EGH as well as our Seattle neighbors. There was a selection of hundreds of books in a variety of genres -- something for everyone.
Thanks go out to the many who made this possible including Hunter Tree Farm for the use of the property; the numerous donors of books; the many volunteers who helped sort and categorize, load and unload books, set up and take down tables; and the wonderful community members who purchased books, asked for more information about Elizabeth Gregory Home, and made large and small additional donations.

Third Annual Benefit Dinner

The Third Annual Benefit Dinner included a gourmet dinner preceded by wine and hors d'oeuvre. Raffle tickets were sold at the event for great prizes, and guests heard from graduates of EGH.
